The newly married couple embraces on the balcony of their wedding reception in Greenville SC. The view from the rooftop of the Avenue wedding reception venue in Greenville is stunning on its own. Combine the view with a summertime lightning storm and the resulting photographs are pure magic! The sky was filled with lightning bolts the evening of July 21st. We asked Lauren and Barrett, the bride and groom, to stand on the rooftop patio 6 stories up, and hold tightly to each other. We went out and across the parking lot to take the photo looking back at the building. We took several long exposures, hoping to catch the perfect lightning strike in the distance. And voila, we were lucky enough to capture this amazing photo in our cameras. Hopefully, other engaged couples will be excited about rain or storms on their wedding day, knowing the art that can be created. Thanks to all the vendors who made this possible!
